Chicago, IL Lighted 12 inch Replogle Library Globe mounted in a cast metal meridian and supported by a turned oak pedestal stand with four gracefully curved legs. The globe features brightly colored political cartography with detailed physical features, ocean currents, steamship routes, and the "Library Globe" legend cartouche designed by noted cartographer Gustav Brueckmann. Internal illumination enhances the map
